Tuesday Tunes #19

I've pretty much been listening to Mumford and Sons nonstop, all month long. Sorry, downstairs neighbor, hope you like them. This one is my favorite and gets played the most...

I know I've posted this exact video before...but I just love it, and needed to do it again. At the bottom of this post I'll post some of my other favorite's from their record, Sigh No More.

Do you remember me telling you about my friend Rodney, who passed? Well he was the doorman/bartender/personality at The Evening Muse in NoDa. About 8 or so years ago I worked there and that's how I got to know him. I've talked with so many folks from all around the country who have been touched by Rodney's life. Singer-songwriter, Eliot Broson is one of those folks. Although I don't know him personally, I feel like we are bonded by our love for Rodney. He wrote this beautiful song about Rodney and I'd really love for you to give it a listen...

Also here is a quick look at the beautiful memorial we had for Rodney in NoDa. It ends with a very special New Orleans style Funeral March - Rodney would have loved it.

and last but not least...the soundtrack of my life right now...
